What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program designed to help eligible Canadians access essential dental care if they do not have private dental insurance. It helps cover the cost of common services such as dental cleanings, exams, X-rays, fillings, extractions, gum care, and dentures, depending on individual needs. Coverage levels are based on household income, and some treatments may require pre-approval. The goal of the CDCP is to improve oral health by making necessary dental care more affordable and accessible.
Do Your Members Qualify?
1. Do not have access to dental insurance and be a Canadian tax resident
2. Adjusted family income less than $90,000
3. Must have filed a tax return in previous year
